Human Microchip

A human microchip implant is an integrated circuit device or RFID transponder encased in silicate glass and implanted in the body of a human being. A subdermal implant typically contains a unique ID number that can be linked to information contained in an external database, such as personal identification, medical history, medications, allergies, and contact information.

Today’s, biochip implant is basically a small (micro) computer chip, inserted under the skin, for identification purposes. The biochip implant system consists of two components; a transponder and a reader or scanner. The transponder is the actual biochip implant. The biochip system is a radio frequency identification (RFID) system, using low-frequency radio signals to communicate between the biochip and reader. The reading range or activation range, between reader and biochip is small, normally between 2 and 12 inches.

Microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and coated with biocompatible glass. Upon implantation by syringe, connective tissue should form to prevent migration. The procedure is very low-cost and simple. All chips are implanted in the same place (between the shoulder blades) so that they will be easy to find and read.

Those who have followed news about this technology may have heard, about five years back, the story on CityWatcher, an Ohio security company that had microchips implanted into employees to give them access to areas where sensitive information for its clients was stored. Some states have already gone ahead and banned mandatory implantation of microchips in humans.

Given the advantages that human microchipping provides for tracking, identifying, and “tagging” military personnel, police (as now has been done in Mexico) and people who require a high security clearance. And the ability to help infirm or handicapped persons with tasks such as opening doors and turning on lights. There is an argument that microchip implant technology could help people. But is it worth the risks?

These innovation is of great device it has advantage and disadvantage as studied. And rumors are, it bring the beast that mostly gettin fear of.

Future Gadget: TED Sixth Sense

TED Sixth Sense is a wearable multi-function device invented by Pranav Mistry, a researcher at MIT’s Fluid Interfaces Group. It was demonstrated at the TED conference in February this year by Belgian Patty Maes, leader of the MIT lab. Have you ever imagine that by clicking photos with your fingers, playing games on a piece of paper, watch movies on news paper, playing games on your tiffin box or having a calculator on your palm? Well, I saw the glimpse of the future when I saw Ted’s Pranav Mistry video.

Brilliant! Like he said "this will be a great step to bring us back from the virtual world to the real world" . This technology is going to change our lives for real!. He showed us a image of the future world.Sixth Sense is cool and amazing. That's maybe the future of technology in the next several decades. Wow.. this is incredible technology. This can change the way we interact with gadgets. Great innovation!

The good part is that Pranav is planning to make available this software as open source so every one can benefit. Since it will open source, anyone can add features or modify the software as he wishes.

A Pileus user can take a picture or video using the umbrella, and the media is then uploaded to Flickr or YouTube. Then, the user can twist the handlebar, which contains an RFID reader, to scroll through the content on each site. The media content is projected onto the umbrella's underside. This portray a browser to make rainy days amusing .The Pileus umbrella has Wi-Fi-enabled with a built-in camera. This is really great, I think I'll gonna have stiff neck with this facing up-above.
